Katrina Bowden’s Funny Rehearsal Dinner Video

New wedding trend alert? Us Weekly has the video that was played during Ben Jorgensen and 30 Rock actress Katrina Bowden’s rehearsal dinner — and it’s laugh out loud funny.

Set to Oasis’ “Wonderwall,” the video goes through photos of Jorgensen and Bowden through the years while celebs like Keanu Reeves, Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, Matt Damon, George Clooney and more “talk candidly” about how special the couple is. Only problem? All the A-list’s stars’ quotes are about a different topic or person, just spliced together and edited to look like they were indeed talking about the pair.

But the most hilarious cameo of all is at the end, when Clooney appears sitting on a toilet in a bathroom.

“Sorry I couldn’t be there,” he says. “I’m in New Jersey shooting a film, fans outside are crazed, I’m hiding in the bathroom right now just so I can talk to you. Just wanted to say congratulations. It’s a huge night for you. I’m so proud, and really wish I could be there.”

All joking aside, it’s clear that the happy couple, who tied the knot on Sunday, May 19 at the Botanic Garden in Brooklyn, N.Y., didn’t need A-list guests to make their day any more special.

As Us Weekly exclusively reported, the actress and Jorgensen, a former frontman for New Jersey group Armor for Sleep, had a beautiful and simple DIY-spirit wedding that went off without a hitch.

“I think when you meet the right person, you just know that you want to be with them forever,” she told Us. “It felt so right. I’ve never felt that way with someone.”

The pair first dated several years go before reconnecting in 2010.

More Wedding Details

US Weekly has more details about Katrina and Ben’s wedding that happened today!

First comes love, then comes marriage! 30 Rock actress Katrina Bowden found the former a long time ago, and on Sunday, May 19, she crossed the latter off her list, too. A year and a half after getting engaged to musician Ben Jorgensen, the 24-year-old star said “I do” at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden in New York City.

Bowden and her beau planned the wedding themselves, an experience she says was “overwhelming.” Once they got into it, though, things started to fall into place. The location, for example, was “so easy to choose,” she tells Us Weekly exclusively. “It was the first and only place we visited.”

Even finding a dress turned out to be surprisingly drama-free. The bride tried on only a couple of gowns at Amsale before she saw a picture of a dress they didn’t have in the showroom. She came back when it was in stock, and that was it. “I knew that was the one,” she gushes. “I was like, ‘Okay, this is it. Let’s do this.’”

Her groom, the former frontman for New Jersey group Armor for Sleep, was “really hands on” throughout the whole wedding planning process, she adds, especially when it came time to decide on the music for the ceremony and reception. He helped pick the song Bowden walked down the aisle to: a string-quartet version of Aerosmith’s “Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing.”

In keeping with the DIY-spirit of the nuptials, the couple wrote their own vows to recite in front of their 127 guests. Bowden also decided to do her own hair, in a style she describes as “up and kind of messy, kind of like a chignon.” And Jorgensen created a special slideshow/video presentation to show at the rehearsal.

Speaking about her longtime love, the actress says she knew he was The One all along, even when they weren’t together. (The two first dated several years ago and then reconnected in 2010.)

“I think when you meet the right person, you just know that you want to be with them forever,” she tells Us. “I mean, I wouldn’t have gotten married if I was 17 or 18, but we knew each other so long ago, and I loved him then, and then I loved him even more. It felt so right. I’ve never felt that way with somebody.”

Katrina Bowden Marries Ben Jorgensen

Katrina Bowden, who made her name as a character of NBC’s 30 Rock set in the heart of Manhattan, got married one borough away on a rainy Sunday at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.

The actress tied the knot with musician Ben Jorgensen, her fiancé of a year and a half.

The couple, who got engaged the night before the Screen Actors Guild Awards in January 2012, planned the wedding themselves – which Bowden, 24, recently admitted was harder than she thought.

“It’s just crazy,” she said. “I didn’t know anything about weddings. … It’s just kind of nuts.”

One thing that did go smoothly? Picking the dress. “It was very easy to find. It was one of the first dresses I tried on,” she said. “I had seen it and I thought, ‘I love that dress.’ I tried on a few others, just to try some on. But once I tried on the dress that I got, it was a no-brainer.”

Bowden and Jorgensen, 29, former frontman for the New Jersey band Armor for Sleep, plan to honeymoon in Hawaii, according to a website the couple set up for guests to help fund their honeymoon.
