Caravan Shows the Love
What a treat it is, to stroll into a lovely garden on the Upper East Side on a fresh spring afternoon, and to be escorted by some lovely ladies into a small store that is even lovelier than they (sorry girls). And then, as if our brain wasn’t already hurting from the abundance of lovely, the store had to be adorned with goodies that were lovelier than loveliness itself. We’re talking about the Caravan boutique, a fetching enclave that catered to various television stars all week long while they were in town for Upfronts week. And by catered, we mean styled (shoes from Gola, jeans from Gilded Age), wined (sparkling wine from Karma) and dined (lunch from Sfoglia).
Guests included Jessica Szohr of “Gossip Girl,” pictured left, CariDee English of “America’s Next Top model,” and Katrina Bowden of “30 Rock.” But the ladies at Caravan were not discriminating. We, who’ve achieved nothing of note in countless of hours of existence, were treated as though we were somebody (free shit!), and it felt, well, lovely.

EW Party Is TV Fan Heaven
Whew. Day three of upfronts is here, and I am seriously regretting staying up until the wee hours at the big Entertainment Weekly party last night.
Or, well, I would regret the EW party, had it not been chock-full of some of our TV favorites and a ridiculously good time! Click in for the dish on Gossip Girl, Dollhouse and more!
In the bizarroverse that is this year’s New York upfronts, the Entertainment Weekly/EW.com/Vavoom bash picked up the party slack of cocktail-free ABC—and then some. The Bowery Hotel’s terrace in downtown Manhattan was already a gorgeous Moroccan Revival space, but topped with a carpet of candles and full of wicker sofas and glittering martini glasses, it was transformed into something downright lovely.
And then there were the stars—and what stars they had: Katrina Bowden, Hilarie Burton and her escort, Lee “Mouth” Norris, Tawny Cypress, David Zayas (as sweet as his Dexter character Angel), Bonnie Somerville (newly a brunette), Michelle Trachtenberg, Amaury Nolasco, Rachel Zoe, Lindsay Price, Jill Hennessy, Kate Flannery, CariDee English, Jack McBrayer, Penn Badgley, Zach Gilford (Matt Saracen cleans up good), Zachary Levi (overheard: “Oh my god, he’s actually tall! No one on TV is ever actually really tall!”), Minka Kelly, Connie Britton, Daniel Dae Kim, Joel de la Fuente (SVU and DDK BFF) Judah Friedlander (hat caption: World Champion), Scott Adsit, Jane Krakowski, Blake Lively, Dania Ramirez (attention-getting and gorgeous in pink), Masi Oka, Zachary Quinto, Eliza Dushku, Leighton Meester, Chace Crawford, Jennifer Esposito, Jeffrey Dean Morgan (also actually tall, for the record), Sara Ramirez (who posed for pix with JDM, and made me go hmmm…), Taylor Momsen and last but of course not least, Ms. Janice Dickinson, who appeared to be hanging out with some ANTM alums.

New Katrina Sighting!
Jane Fonda was the belle of the ball at the Cinema Society afterparty for “Smart People” on Monday, the New York Post reported.
The two-time Oscar winner, who’s not in the film, showed up to the Bowery Hotel bash wearing a chocolate gown paired with red rhinestone sunglasses and motorcycle boots.
Fonda partied with new boyfriend Lynden Gillis, who met her when he asked her for an autograph at a book signing.
Also at the Linda Wells-hosted party were the movie’s stars – Ellen Page, Thomas Haden Church, Dennis Quaid and Sarah Jessica Parker, who was being

interviewed on the red carpet when the reporter suddenly fainted.
Parker’s hubby Matthew Broderick, as well as Griffin Dunne, Donna Karan, Parker Posey, Howard Stern fiancée Beth Ostrosky and “30 Rock” stars Katrina Bowden, Rachel Dratch and Lonny Ross all walked the red carpet. Ellen Barkin, who rebuffed fotogs, was overheard inviting Isla Fisher to her next Passover dinner, saying she makes a “mean brisket.” And Rocco Dispirito walked around showing off his new gal pal, Eddie Murphy ex Tracey Edmonds.

Fashion Week Diary: Day Five
Later on at Cynthia Steffe, we chatted with 30 Rock actress Katrina Bowden, who idolizes Meryl Streep and hopes to follow in the Oscar winning actress’s footsteps. With all the zany characters on the show, the 19-year-old revealed that off set things are less zany. “Everyone is great. Everyone is so funny. Tracey is a very funny guy. Alec is super sweet and very funny as well. It’s hard to pick who’s the biggest comedian.”

Fashion Week Frenzy Continues!
The Hollywood work stoppage may have boosted the star wattage at New York Fashion Week — Eva Longoria and Ellen Pompeo at Michael Kors, Dylan McDermott at Proenza Schouler, Angie Harmon at Tory Burch.
But several front-row faces brightened at talk this week of an end to the writer’s strike. Aisha Tyler, who recently wrapped up a couple of movies and is working on some stand-up material, says she recently shared a meal with a couple of network executives, and they agreed: An end to the strike is long overdue. “The anger is gone,” she says before the Ports 1961 show on Monday night.
Emily Deschanel of “Bones,” at Sunday’s Herve Leger by Max Azria, admitted to secretly being a teeny-tiny bit glad that she’s had some downtime, because it let her doing some traveling and visit relatives. Katrina Bowden, who plays “30 Rock”‘s dim bulb Cerie brilliantly (and is a Wyckoff girl, to boot!), says she’s been taking some improv classes during the downtime. “It’s been a little bit boring,” she says at Joanna Mastroianni’s show on Tuesday. “I thought, ‘If it ends in February, it’s not that bad.’ It’s that bad.”

Fashion Week Diary: Days Two & Three
DAY TWO :
Day Two at the tents started with the Alexandre Herchcovitch where Miss USA Rachel Smith was loving every second of it. She shared with OK! that she thought the line was incredible. Rachel who doesn’t think a second season of Pageant Girls will be filming also admitted, “I am now just being introduced into the fashion world and learning how to take pieces that are over the top and put them into my wardrobe and style.” While it is only her second fashion week, Niki Taylor, a veteran to the runway worked the crowd along with the models from her Bravo show.
Later that night, OK! came back to the Bryant Park tents to check out the Rock & Republic show. It may have started over an hour late, but it was certainly well worth the wait with the live orchestra they had in the middle of the runway. In the meantime, the W Hotels Jet Set Lounge was bustling with celebs. Ellen Pompeo with her husband Chris Ivery stood in a corner and snacked on sushi provided by the celebs favorite eatery Koi. On the other end of the lounge, OK! caught up with Christina Milian who is just adorable. This year for her is going to be a busy one as she starts filming a movie with Jennifer Garner and Matthew McConaughey in three weeks. She confesses, “He is much better looking in person!” That doesn’t help her get over her nerves of meeting these stars. “I guess because I see them in the magazines and admire their work,” she explains. “When I finally get to meet them, I’m such a dork.”
At the show, OK! passed an injured Russell Simmons who was resting his foot on the runway to get to 30 Rock’s Katrina Bowden. Just back from her trip to the SAG awards, she tells OK!, “I love doing the carpet at those things.” But, the blonde beauty admits, “I like to dress comfortable.”
During the show, Joss Stone paid more attention to the orchestra, which makes sense for a talented songstress like herself. As for her personal style, “I don’t really have a style,” she tells OK! “Some days it’s ridiculous, some days it’s posh, others it’s casual.” Across the runway, Tyson Beckford did not let his adoration for a purple high-slitted dress stay quiet as he applauded loudly as the model walked by.
After the show, Sophia Bush mentioned to OK! that the line is very sexy and reminded her of ’70s era Farrah Fawcett.
At the new sexy hotspot 1OAK, celebs came to celebrate the designs at the after-party. Sophia, Vivica A. Fox, Gary Dourdan from CSI, Cameron Richardson and Katrina Bowden chatted it up and danced. As OK! was leaving, Stavros Niarchos with a bunch of buddies came to hang.

Celebs Flock to Fashion Week
By modeling standards, 33-year-old Niki Taylor might be kindly called a “veteran” of the industry. And she’s just fine with that.
“I feel like a mom to them,” Taylor said, sitting a couple seats down from Nicky Hilton, surrounded by a gaggle of young models from her show. “I keep wanting to check up with them and say ‘Is everyone OK? Everyone having a good time? What did you all think?’” Taylor said.
Waxing nostalgic, she noted that the fashion industry hardly resembles the one she dominated in the ’90s. “Those feel to me like the good old days,” she said.
“Today, there’s just more of everything. More designers, more magazines — there’s more something for everyone. But these days, I’m happy in my role as ‘mom.’”
Across the runway, a handful of Nashville natives who’d been to Taylor’s Tennessee-based clothing store, Abbie & Jesse’s, speculated about the identity of the blonde woman with whom the model spent many of the preshow minutes chitchatting. A passel of cameramen ‘fessed up to not knowing who the woman was, either, despite snapping as many pictures of her as they could.
The girl was Katrina Bowden, the perky actress who plays the ditsy secretary Cerie on NBC’s “30 Rock” — a show of the variety that existed in earlier times: when writers were working.
The Nashville ladies, however, didn’t seem to recall the existence of the pre-strike folk known as “actors.”
“She must be one of the models on Niki Taylor’s show,” said one. “And she is SO kissing up!”
