New Details About “American Reunion”

Chris Klein, Katrina Bowden’s co-star in the new “American Pie” franchise, “American Reunion”, has just talked a little about Katrina’s role in the film!

1. Oz is now a Hollywood hot shot
Klein’s sensitive high school virgin (who bedded girlfriend Mena Suvari at the end of the first film) “has moved to a beach house in Malibu. He’s found his way to Hollywood, where he works as a sportscaster on an NFL show. And he has a young girlfriend, Mia, played by [30 Rock's] Katrina Bowden, who is really, really funny,” he says. “And he gets his invite to the reunion and decides to go with his girlfriend.” Bowden and Suvari have a confrontation there. “I’m not sure yet how awkward it is… we haven’t shot that yet. There’s gotta’ be a little awkwardness.”

Katrina Bowden Joins ‘American Reunion’ Cast

With all of its returning cast set to return and production officially underway, Universal has found a fresh face to join the “American Pie” gang.

Katrina Bowden is on board to round out the cast of “American Reunion,” the latest edition in the “American Pie” series.

Jason Biggs, Seann William Scott, Alyson Hannigan, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Chris Klein, Eugene Levy, Tara Reid, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Jennifer Coolidge and Mena Suvari are all set to return with Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg writing and directing.

In this latest installment, all the American Pie characters we met a little more than a decade ago are returning to East Great Falls for their high-school reunion. In one long-overdue weekend, they will discover what has changed, who hasn’t and that time and distance can’t break the bonds of friendship.

Katrina Bowden will play Klein’s girlfriend who is an L.A. party girl type.

Craig Perry, Chris Moore and Warren Zide are on to produce with Chris and Paul Weitz exec producing.

It marks the first time most cast members will appear together since “American Pie 2.”

Several thesps, including Reid and Klein, did not return for “American Wedding” and only Levy was on board for the direct-to-DVD installments that Universal released.

After most of the cast was finalized in March, securing Bowden was the final piece before starting production.

U execs are excited to reunite the cast after seeing the response to the latest installment of “Fast & the Furious” franchise, “Fast Five,” which brought back much of the original cast.

The “American Pie” franchise has grossed more than $700 million dollars worldwide.

Katrina Bowden is best known for her role as Cerie on “30 Rock” and can also be seen next in “Piranha: 3DD.”

She is repped by ICM and Management 360.

Katrina Bowden Named Esquire.com Sexiest Woman Alive

For the last month or so, we conducted our second annual Sexiest Woman Alive Madness tournament to allow America to choose its own honoree for Esquire’s coveted title. Turns out your two-million votes made things almost as interesting as that other epic March competition. Except the finals on Esquire.com weren’t nearly as ugly, and the underdog, we can now reveal, actually won.

So, as a trophy presentation of sorts, may we introduce to the world of men Katrina Bowden — damn fine 22-year-old actress (whom you probably recognize as Tina Fey’s assistant on 30 Rock); near-perfect embodiment of the word Cinderella (who miraculously upset reigning champion Brooklyn Decker); heart of a champion. Herein, her first shining moments….
